Lovely Foodie Awaits U

Hoshino Coffee has a unique dish called "Kuwa Kuwa" which is a combination of egg and cheese souffle at the top and tomato rice with Ham and mushrooms underneath. It resembles a soup bread bowl by the look of it but it tastes uniquely different. I love how the way the eggs and cheese are beaten together to create the perfect souffle for the heart and soul. They are also well known for their desserts like the original pancake souffle which is a definite must try if you visit there! There are displays of the pancake and I was surprised the real dish looked exactly like on the display, for example the size portion. This is so far the best pancake which I tried in Singapore!

Passed by Punggol Community Club during dinner time and decided to venture out what food Punggol Community Club has. Came across on the 2nd level there is this mini cafe called Burp Cafe which serves quite yummy food. Ate the Ham and Cheese pizza and spicy spagetti. The pizza is my favourite! It is thinly crusted and the taste of the cheese is like melting in my mouth with every bite. Couldn't resist the taste! I never knew Punggol CC can have such delicious mouth watering pizza. Love it! I loved Brownice Ice Cream!! It is hard to come by an ice cream stall that sells organic vegan ice cream which means that it is not fattening too! I especially loved their black sesame flavour which it sells out quite fast too! The flavour is different from other black sesame ice cream as it does not contain milk which means that u will be able to taste the full bodied flavour of the black sesame with every mouthful. Yums yums! Loving it! 

I Love this yummy custard bun from Canton-i! One bite of it, I can taste the flowing and flavorful salted egg yolk paste in my mouth. Enjoyed it! Actually, there is another custard bun which is my number one favorite after trying from The Cathay Restaurant. The filling is creamier than Canton-i's. Sinful!

Sorry, I did not took any pictures of that custard bun at that time but I will go there to buy again soon and upload the picture here soon!  

Went to City Square JB on a weekend by car on a Saturday and it was surprising the traffic was smooth flowing. We passed by J-Co Donuts and I bought a durian cream donut. It was new on the shelf so I decided to grab it to try. The durian cream was not bad but maybe it was a tad creamy, more cream compared to durian paste. I like the bright yellow color though as it makes me cheerful when eating it! Hehe! 

Went to this restaurant among the shop houses area called Saveur at Purvis Street. When we reached there, it was quite a long queue. Initially, we wanted to give it a miss but we still queued all the way, thinking that the food must be good to worth the wait. I saw a few passers by took pictures of this restaurant. They must be thinking what is so special about the food in this restaurant as compared to the rest of the restaurants beside it.We ordered a Crispy Duck Confit with Citrus Segment and Boulangere Potato. This dish is appetising as it has the 2 pieces of citrus fruits beside the duck which complements the duck and potato. This is one of their signature dish. 

We also ordered this Angel Hair Pasta with Tiger Prawn. I love the unique taste of this pasta as it is drizzled with black cod roe too. 

There is this Foie Gras with lentils which we ordered. It has a strong bodied taste of Foie Gras accompanied by lentils which compliments to give a pleasant taste and aroma. 

I like the smoked taste of this dish from BBQ Chicken. It is called smoked duck. This picture does not look appetizing but the smell of the smoked duck is very fragrant, and when I took a bite of it, the smell lingers. The duck is juicy to the taste too. Yummy!
